Neo-Nazis take a loss on propaganda sales
Extremists from The American Futurist experiment with financial transparency
Welcome to the first newsletter of 2022! We’re starting off with a banger — an analysis of the revenues and expenses of The American Futurist website, courtesy of the extremists themselves. It’s rare that we get this detailed information on the finances of an extremist group, so enjoy. And if you’re new around here, welcome! Remember - if you like what you’re reading, please share and subscribe.
The American Futurist website is a neo-Nazi website tangentially associated with Atomwaffen Division / National Socialist Order (listed terrorist entities in Canada) and was set up in 2020 to spread James Mason’s propaganda. On December 28, 2021, American Futurist website posted an overview of their finances in an effort to be “financially transparent”. It was a short-lived endeavour — the post was removed within about five days. Thankfully, resourceful extremism scholar Marc-André Argentino saved the post and shared it with me. For more information on Atomwaffen Division and James Mason and how they fit into the extremist and terrorist ecosystem, see:
