The Diagolon Network
Diagolon is a decentralized Canadian white supremacist network. It was formed in 2020 and is made up of fans of the Plaid Army, a far-right podcast collective. Diagolon is known for promoting extreme hate speech, Holocaust denial, white nationalism, right-wing accelerationism, and neo-Nazism1 through populist messaging in livestreams and podcasts. Diagolon has also embedded itself in a variety of Canadian right-wing conspiracy movements that are not explicitly white supremacist, including anti-vaccine and anti-2SLGBTQIA+ movements. In 2022, a member of Diagolon was arrested during a border blockade in Alberta and became one of four men charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Police seized a tactical vest with Diagolon patches and several weapons from the man. Because Diagolon operates both as a white power movement and as an online fanbase, its financial profile can provide unique insights into possible financing structures used by far-right networks in the future.
